Sophie has always been drawn to stories and art as a way of understanding and caring for people.

Growing up in Santa Fe, New Mexico, surrounded by art and creative communities, shaped Sophie’s belief that art and stories can be a form of care. A way to reflect identity, connect, and make the world feel more human.

Sophie is a multi-disciplinary artist. They hold a Bachelor’s degree in Motion Picture Arts from Capilano University and a certificate in Fashion Filmmaking from VIA University.

Their films have been screened at festivals and received awards. Their photography has been published in Veruca Mag, Goji Magazine, 17:23 Magazine, Mob Magazine, & The Capilano Courier.

Sophie is influenced by surrealism, cinema, identity, fashion, and fleeting moments. Sophie is open to creative collaboration.
